Get to know your therapist

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor based in Alabama, and the heart behind Wildflower Within Therapy. I studied Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Auburn University, where I discovered my passion for sitting with people in their most honest moments, helping them find clarity, connection, and a sense of return to themselves.

For over five years, I’ve worked in community mental health, supporting individuals through some of life’s heaviest and most complicated seasons. Most recently, I served as a Program Director at a mental health center before choosing to follow a new dream: opening my own private practice. Creating Wildflower Within Therapy has allowed me to offer a space that feels calm, affirming, and deeply human, where people can slow down, breathe, and grow at their own pace.

What inspires me most about this work is witnessing that spark return to someone’s eyes, the moment they realize they are not broken, that healing is possible, and that they already hold the power to reshape their life. It’s a privilege to walk beside people as they uncover their strength, tenderness, and resilience.

My approach is gentle and collaborative, rooted in trauma-informed, evidence-based care. I’m committed to offering an inclusive, affirming space for individuals of all identities and backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ clients, those exploring gender identity, the BIPOC community, individuals healing religious or spiritual trauma, and anyone seeking to feel more whole.

When I’m not in the therapy room, you can usually find me spending time with friends and family, taking my black lab Sugar for long walks, browsing vintage or thrift shops, getting lost in a good book, enjoying the wonders of nature, or soaking in the cozy atmosphere of a local coffee shop.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you rediscover the wildflower within yourself.
