Welcome to Wildflower Within Therapy! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor based in Alabama, and I’m passionate about supporting individuals as they move through life’s challenges and reconnect with who they truly are. I work to honor every identity, every story, and every journey toward living more fully and freely. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply wanting a safe and affirming place to land, I’m here to walk alongside you.

My approach is gentle, collaborative, and grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based care. In our work together, we can explore anxiety, depression, identity, relationships, life transitions, self-worth, or anything else on your heart. I hold a deep commitment to offering an affirming, loving space for LGBTQIA+ folks. I believe every person carries their own quiet strength, sometimes it just needs the right environment to grow. Therapy can be that space.

  • The easiest way to begin your journey is by sending me an email. From there, we can connect, answer any questions you have, and find a time for your first session.

    You’re also welcome to reach out through the contact form on this site or by phone, whatever feels most comfortable for you. I’ll be here to guide you through the first steps and help you feel supported as you take this next step toward growth and healing.

  • Simply put, we will just get to know one another. I will ask a whole lot of questions to learn more about you and what you are wanting to work on in therapy, and you will have the opportunity to get to know me and see if you think we will be a good fit. My goal is for our first session together to feel warm, welcoming, and comfortable.

  • Typically, a session is 53 minutes. Longer sessions can be made available upon request.

  • Yes! I offer virtual sessions through my HIPAA compliant online platform so you can join therapy from the comfort of your own space.

  • I currently accept BCBS of Alabama. I am also accepting self-pay clients and can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

  • I work with adults age 18 and older.

  • The short answer is, therapy is right for everyone! Therapy can be helpful if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, curious about yourself, or simply wanting support through life’s transitions. A consultation call can help us decide if we’re a good fit.

  • This totally depends on your needs and goals. Many clients start with weekly sessions and adjust as they grow and heal. I like to collaborate with my clients so we can come up with a schedule that fits you best.

  • Wildflower Within Therapy is an affirming, inclusive space. I strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all communities, including BIPOC individuals, individuals with disabilities, LGBTQIA+ individuals, immigrants, and people of all genders, sexual orientations, cultural backgrounds, relationship structures, body sizes, and spiritual or religious beliefs. Whoever you are and wherever you come from, you are welcome here.
